Nima Gorji born in Iran is the son of a live musician. Therefore, his interest in music started very early. Resettling in Denmark at the age of 13, he started his studies at music school. Keyboards was his favorite. Since there, Nima has carved his own way in the music world across continents. Achieving great success in Scandinavia through his own production as Black Powder, and events as Verydisco, he finally settle down in ibiza in 2005. Regularly playing in clubs like Space and Pacha, he has gone on to be nominated as Best Ibiza DJ of the DJ Awards in 2007 and in 2008. Along with a floating collective of DJs and producers he is now part of the creative landscape of the island with his digital-only label Welt Recordings, and vinyl label Welt Sounds, releasing tracks and promoting events with other island residents. As a producer, Nima always sticks to his roots, creating magical hypnotic loops full of deepness as were doing the traditional Sufis. End of 2008- beg. 2009, Nima is at the top of his productions, releasing on lots of other labels such as 3rd Floor, Love letters from Oslo, Murmur, International Freakshow, Jesus loved you, Tsuba, Cécille, etc...
