7th Nemesis


7th Nemesis is a band from Paris France founded in 2001 with the following target, to mix the violence of extreme metal with the complexity of progressive rock structures. In April 2002 the band recorded a three track demo which was exclusively distributed to magazines and webzines all around the world. It has been reviewed almost 200 times in about 40 countries. In September 2003, Skull Fucked Prod released the “Chronicles of a sickness”, split cd shared with the Austrian Band Punishment. After several gigs in Europe and some line-up changes, 7th Nemesis recorded “Violentia Imperatrix Mundi”, its first album. In a demo version in june 2006, they decided to make it downloadable for free through its website and its partner VS-Webzine one's. This first album helped the band to build up their name in underground scene and allowed them to play during the Hellfest 2007 edition. In summer 2007, the German label Restrain Records offered them to re-release their album. So, since that decision, the free download on “Violentia Imperatrix Mundi” was stopped. The album was totally re-recorded and remixed to be released under the name of “Archetype of Natural Violence”. March 2008, the drummer Dagulard was replaced by Efflam for the French tour with Death Metaller IMPUREZA. Mai 2008, the band stopped its contract with Restrain Records and decided to release their first album produced by themselves and with the help of Hybreed (Association managed by Alex S.). Summer 2008, release of the first music video with the song “Aporia” from the “Archetype of Natural Violence” album. February 2009, the band start the recording of their 2nd full-length album untitled “Deterministic Nonperiodic Flow” with Efflam's Successor Selv at the Drums. 7th Nemesis is currently looking for a label, a booking agency & gigs.
