Adam Castillo started out as an electronic music composer in 2001 experimenting with a mixture of New Age and Trance styles and including typical traditional Polynesians sounds (voices and drums). In this way he ended up creating an innovative musical genre which he likes to call “Electrotribal”. Currently more inspired by Dark Ambient and Trip Hop styles, Adam is now working on the contrast between dark and bright melodies sustained by heavy elaborate rhythms and bound together in a progressive style. Adam, however, does not feel constrained in his exploration for new musical styles and trends which is why he refers to himself – modesty apart – as an “Inventive Music Maker”.
