Anika est une chanteuse anglo-allemande partageant sa vie entre Bristol et Berlin. Par le fruit du hasard, BEAK>, groupe composé de GEOFF BARROW (membre de Portishead et boss du label Invada), BILL FULLET (Fuzz Against Junk) et MATT WILLIAMS (Team Brick) découvre cette voix si singulière faisant directement écho à celle de Nico… de ce coup de foudre artistique est né ce premier album faisant le pont entre le rock sombre et décadent du Velvet Underground.
