• Smooth Jazz

Fattburger, le mal nommé est un groupe de jazz extrêmement rafraichissant... Le groupe de smooth jazz a été formé dans les années 80 à San Diego en Californie par Kevin Koch (batterie), Steve Laury (guitare), Holls Hentry (saxophone), Mark Hunter (basse) et Carl Evans (clavier). Steve Laury, tenté par une carrière solo, fut remplacé au sein du groupe par Evan Marks. (qui a lui aussi fait une carrière solo en parallèle dont l'inoubliable long way home (1995). Parfois comparé aux groupes The Yellowjackets ou The Rippingtons, Fattburger a sorti son premier album One of A Kind en 1985, suivit l'année suivante par Good News. Ils ont ensuite sorti les albums All Natural Ingredients, Living In Paradise, Fattburger.Com et Sizzlin'. Depuis 1994, le groupe sort ses albums sur le label Shanachie Records.
