Jim Morrison
Né le 8 décembre 1943, ce chanteur américain était aussi poète et cinéaste. En 1964, il rencontre Ray Manzarek qui étudie aussi le cinéma à l'université de Los Angeles. Ils fondent le groupe The Doors, nom en référence à Blake et Huxley. Leur style unique et la présence scénique de Jim Morrison leur amènent le succès. Morrison veut mêler lyrisme poétique sombre et musique d'une grande intensité. Il voit ses dernières années assombries par un procès suite à un concert mouvementé. Voulant se consacrer à la poésie, il part vivre à Paris où il meurt en 1971.
