Marc Copland
Marc Copland (né le 27 mai 1948 à Philadelphie en Pennsylvanie) est un pianiste de jazz Américain et un compositeur. Copland s'est présenté sur une scène de jazz à Philadelphie au début des années 60 en tant que saxophoniste, et plus tard il s'est déplacé à New York où il a expérimenté un saxophone électrique alto. Au début des années 70, tout en poursuivant son propre concept harmonique, il s'est senti limité à cause de limitation inhérente du saxophone et il s'est recyclé en tant que pianiste de jazz.
