Noteworthy. Hm. The instance--the lifetime--that exists as Noteworthy when it is not just a play on words is an a cappella group at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Members thus far are: Bill O'Connell, Caitlin Reed, Mike Daley, Sara Ventre, Jeffrey Chouinard, Sarah Jane Yurek, Justin Perez, Jeff Marcus, Matt Starring, Greg Corbino, Rita O'Connell, Jon Ryan, Brian Dann, Taylor Brennan, Sara Dobrinich, Sam Simahk, Paulina Jaeger, Laura Schwebel, Adam Shepard, Sara Collins, Hannah DeRemer, Emily Hagen, Evan Rhoda, Ryan McGovern, Katherine Wright, Beth Stafford Laird, and Grace Konrad. (this list should be added to by those who know the most current members). These people are in love... with each other, in part, but also with life in a way that is incredibly inclusive of the people listening. Noteworthy has a way of stirring deep feeling in listeners--laughs, elation, various manifestations of passion (listen to Crazy). And yet, they seem to be singing for each other more than any sort of audience. Their songs seem to take them to a collective, imagined world.
