Groupe fondé début 2006. Après plusieurs modifications de l'effectif, le groupe s'est stabilisé en mai 2008 sous la forme d'un trio dynamique: Michaël compose tous les titres et se charge des intruments mélodiques et des choeurs; Josian s'occupe des percussions et des aspects techniques du groupe (home studio, sonorisation, vidéo, logistique); Marjorie sublime chaque morceau avec sa voix à la fois sensible et puissante. PECTOPAH crée des chansons profondes et cherche à introduire un maximum de sonorités originales. Les arrangements sont soignés et le groupe a tendance à être perfectionniste. Chaque titre est travaillé durant des mois avant d'intégrer la set-list. Sur scène PECTOPAH partage son univers riche avec le public: une dixaine de compositions invitent chaque auditeur pour un voyage musical d'environ une heure. Founded in early 2006. After a period of turbulence within its ranks, the band stabilizes in May 2008 as a dynamic trio: Michaël composes each title, focusing on melody and backup vocals; Josian manages percussions and all technical facets of the band (home studio, sound enhancement, video, logistics); Marjorie polishes each track with a voice both sensitive and powerfull. PECTOPAH creates songs with debth and attemps to introduce as much originality as possible within its sound. Much attention is paied to musical arrangements in a never-ending quest for perfection. Each title is developped for months prior to integrating the set list. On stage, PECTOPAH shares its wealth of sounds with its audience: a set of approximately ten original compositions invites each listener to cast off for an hour long musical voyage.
