Rick Springfield
Rick Springsfield, de son vrai nom, Richard Springthorpe, est né le 23 août 1949 à Sydney (Australie). Son père est officier dans l'armée et la famille voyage beaucoup. Ils séjournent pendant quelques temps en Angleterre où le jeune Rick se voit offrir une guitare et c'est le déclic. Il joue dans divers groupes australiens, Rock House and Zoot. Son premier hit est Speak to the sky en septembre 1972 qui est n° 12 dans les charts américains.
