Ruby Throat est le projet minimaliste de la charismatique chanteuse du groupe Queen Adreena, Katie Jane Garside. Le premier album, the Ventriloquist, est sorti qu'en très peu d'exemplaires. Un genre nouveau, incomparable au son que l'on connait des guitares hurlantes du précédent groupe. Katie Jane est accompagnée de son guitariste, Chris. La musique donne plutôt dans la mélancolie, la poésie. Out of a black cloud came a bird, le second opus, est sorti le 12 novembre 2009.
