The Paragons est un groupe jamaïcain de rocksteady formé peu avant 1964 par Bob Andy, Leroy Stamp, Garth Evans et Junior Menz (sous le nom The Binders). Ils prennent le nom de Paragons à l'arrivée de John Holt et Howard Barrett en 1964 remplaçant les départs de Leroy Stamp et Junior Menz. La musique est influencée par la soul nord-américaine ; bien qu'ayant joué du ska et du reggae, il est principalement connu pour ses mélodies rocksteady, courant dont il est un groupe jamaïcain majeur.
