The Rapture
The Rapture est un groupe de rock américain situé à New York City. Le groupe joue un mélange de plusieurs influences post-punk, dance-punk, acid house, disco, electro, rock and roll, et bien plus encore. The Rapture s'est formé en 1998 à San Diego autour du batteur Vito Roccoforte et du chanteur et guitariste Luke Jenner. Dès les débuts, le groupe voit leur premier bassiste partir et est vite remplacé par Matt Safer. Le groupe voyage beaucoup et sort en 2001 un EP de 6 chansons Out of the Races and Onto the Tracks sur le label Sub Pop.
