Derrière le trip hop de Waldeck se cache le producteur autrichien Klaus Waldeck qui travaille pour le label Vienna's Spray Records. Ce dernier compte dans ses rangs les artistes Kruder & Dorfmeister et Count Basic. Après avoir composé un morceau pour la compilation The eclectic sound of Vienna, Klaus Waldeck sort son premier album Balance of the force en 1999.
