Leviathan
Leviathan est un groupe américain de Black metal ambiant formé en 1998 par Jeff Whitehead (Wrest) à San Francisco (Californie). Wrest est le seul membre du groupe. Pendant les premières années d'activité, Wrest crée de nombreuses démos, puis crée son premier album studio en 2003 The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide. Au cours de l'année suivante, Wrest crée un deuxième album studio Tentacles of Whorror. Après quelques splits et EP's, Wrest crée, en 2008, le troisième album Massive Conspiracy Against All Life En 2011, il crée True Traitor, True Whore, le quatrième album. La musique de Leviathan est terriblement froide et mélancolique; la mort, la misanthropie et le nihilisme hantent ces disques. L'atmosphère est très dépressive.
